Is all scripture important? Do you wonder if some parts of scripture are more important than others parts? I think it’s all important!

II Timothy 3:16-17 says all scripture is from God.

If it’s all from God, then its all true.

If it’s all from God and it’s all true, then all of it has to be important!

UNDERSTAND TO BELIEVE?

Do we need to understand every verse of every book of the bible to believe it’s true? No!

You may not understand how God created everything in seven days, but scripture says He did. Do you understand how Noah build the Arc? Maybe not, but scripture says He did. You may not understand how Jesus walked on water, but scripture says He did.

We don’t need to understand every little detail to believe. We just need to believe. (Genesis 1:1-2:7, Genesis 6, Matthew 14:22-27)

DON’T DOUBT IT! SOMEONE NEEDS TO BELIEVE!

Sometimes our faith is weak. When this happens what should we do? We need to look at what amazes us! For me that’s creation, others it may be prophecy, the Psalms, or miracles that were performed.

The point is this; Don’t tell someone that something in the bible isn’t important. What you may think is incidental, another person may need to sustain their faith when they need it most.

IT’S ALL IMPORTANT! IT’S ALL TRUE!
