BLESSINGS FROM GOD
Blessings from God are His promises to us. God wants us to be happy by finding joy through Him. He specifically tells us some of the ways in which we will be blessed, and not all blessings are monetary. God has written His blessings down and they are throughout scripture, just for us!
Blessings from God, Matthew 5:1-12
- Kingdom of Heaven
When we admit that we have a poor spirit, that we need help from the one True God we are blessed. God blesses us by letting us be a part of the Kingdom of God. - Comfort
We will be blessed with comfort when we mourn. This blessing can come in many forms, as long as we are willing to accept this blessing from God. - The earth
Meekness is a good quality for a follower of Christ, it means you are humble. You give God the credit for what He has done. God blesses you for this because you will see the beauty in what’s around you, and what God has given to you. - Being filled
When we seek God and His righteousness God will fill us with HIM. - Mercy
When we show mercy God will bless us with His mercy. - Seeing God
Having a pure heart enables us to see God. This is an awesome blessing because who can’t use a little more God in their life. - We’ll be called sons of God
God wants us to be a light in this world. He wants us to be a good representation of Him. When we are peacemakers (sometimes this just means being quiet) we are blessed with a great title, a son of God. - Great reward in heaven.
No one likes being persecuted, but when we get persecuted because of our faith, we will have blessings waiting for us in Heaven.
God will bless us when we let God be our God.
Psalm 1 & Luke 6:20-26:
Those that belong to the world have temporary “blessings”, and those that belong to God will continue to be blessed for eternity.
Ephesians 1:3-4:
The ultimate blessing coming from God.
