LESSON ON FAITH

Do we really know what faith means? This bible study aide will help us see what the Bible says about faith. Begin this fellowship time in prayer, and then read Hebrews 11:1

1. The meaning of faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1. What does “the substance of things hoped for mean”? How does it connect to faith?  (Romans 8:24-25, II Corinthians 5:7)
2. “Substance of things not seen”, what does this mean and how does it connect to faith? (II Corinthians 4:16-18, Hebrews 11:3)
3. In your own words what does faith mean?
4. Why is it important to be confident in our faith? (Hebrews 3:14, II Corinthians 5:6-8)
5. In Hebrews 3:7-12, what is the warning that is given to us in verse 12? Why should we be taking this VERY seriously?
6. How do we keep our faith? What are some examples of living out our faith? (Hebrews 3:13-15)
