HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDER? ME TOO.

HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDER? ME TOO.

THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDER CAN TAKE ITS TOLL

Because of Covid-19 we have been in this stay-at-home order for awhile now. This can take a toll on us emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. We need to realize that we are not the only one having a hard time with the stay-at-home order. I have my bad days too.

HOW AM I HANDLING THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDER?

Just like everyone else I have had my ups and downs, at times having a hard time with the stay-at-home order. Bad days will always happen, you have to take the bad with the good. The unknown is a big trigger for the bad days, and there are many unknowns in life right now. This is why I have to focus on the known.

I HAVE TO FOCUS ON WHAT IS KNOWN, AND THAT IS MY FAITH.

I have to battle the unknown with the known. The known in my life right now is my faith. My faith brings me peace during these uncertain times. With so many opinions circulating right now I have no idea who to believe. That’s why I have to remember to believe the One who knows the unknown, God. Only God knows what did happen, what is happening and what will happen.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:26 NKJV

WHAT IS KNOWN!

  • God is in control
    • Exodus 14:13
  • God wants us to have peace
    • John 14:26
  • God doesn’t want us to be troubled, afraid or worried.
    • John 14:26
  • God wants us to do His will
    • I Thessalonians 5:16-22

CONCLUSION

During the bad days and the good days I need to keep looking to God. I need to keep praising Him and looking at the blessings that are all around me. These blessings don’t have to be mine, they can be how God worked in someone else’s life. God is control, He has always been in control, and He always will be in control. I need to take this seriously, but more importantly I need to be taking God seriously.
