REVELATION, GIVE IT A TRY

REVELATION, GIVE IT A TRY

Revelation, we need to read it!

Many Christians are afraid to read the book of Revelation. We should not be afraid to read this prophecy. God gives us scripture for a reason, and if we reference II Timothy 3:16 we can see what that reason is. God didn’t give us 65 books of the bible, He gave us 66. That 66th book was given to us for the same reason as the others. We don’t need to be afraid of the 66th book. Reading Revelation is something we need to do more often.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

II TIMOTHY 3:16

WHY READ REVELATION

We need to read Revelation because it’s God’s word. He wants us to read it, just like the rest of the bible! And just like the rest of the bible we can personally apply II Timothy 3:16 when reading the book Revelation. We are to learn it, to live by it, to use it to correct our actions and thoughts, and to even understand what righteousness is and how we can attain that, so we can be complete and be prepared to do God’s will.

READING REVELATION WITH AN OPEN MIND

I challenge you to read Revelation with an open mind, with NO preconceived notions or scholarly insight. Don’t read it because you are looking for proof of the rapture, a date for when Christ will return, or for any other reason that isn’t clearly laid out in II Timothy 3:16. Just read it.

We pray that this free bible study on doing God’s will was a blessing for youWe hope you search our website, Christian Fellowshipping, for more encouraging ways to fellowship with God and other believes.
