Just because you’re a Christian, it doesn’t mean you automatically have all the answers on how to live life. With this said, as a Christian we read, we pray, we study God’s word, and we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us on how to live life as a Christian. But this is easier said than done.

Living life as a Christian is hard, but to help us God gave us something when we became a Christian. When we become a Christian through salvation, (to find out what salvation is and how you receive it follow this link: What is Salvation) we are all given a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3) First thing to remember, it doesn’t say that everyone is given the same measurement of faith. The second thing to remember is that a measure of faith doesn’t mean that we have all the answers. It simply means that when we mess up, our faith is there so we can count on God to forgive us knowing that He wants us to learn from it and try again.

 I found everlasting salvation in Christ in my mid 20’s, even though I grew up in the church. Because I grew up in church, I had basic bible knowledge. This knowledge didn’t grant me salvation, but it did provide a good foundation for me. Living life as a Christian is a learning process no matter what age you receive salvation. It doesn’t matter if you are 10, 25 or 55 there is always something new to learn, new ways to mess up, and new opportunities for God to forgive you. 😊

“HOW TO” Live Life as Christian?

My how-to scripture reference is Romans 12.

I believe Romans 12 is an outline of the Christian life. It can be broken down into 3 sections.

1. Salvation
2. God’s gifts
3. How to behave

It’s a lot to cover in one chapter, but God doesn’t expect us to be a “perfect Christian” He just expects us to keep trying to do our best to follow His outline on how to live life as a Christian.

We’re going to take this one step at a time, tackling one topic, or section of scripture until we cover all of Romans 12. This will be the next blog series that we are going to explore as we are trying to live life as a Christian.
