I grew up in the church but didn’t have a personal and daily relationship with God until I was in my 20’s, and my husband and I started going to church together. When I was pregnant with our first daughter, we felt God leading me to quit my job to stay home. I was a stay at home mom for almost 14 years before going back to work part time. Each and every season of life has had its good and bad moments, but my faith and knowledge has only grown because of it.
WHAT DOES LUKE 18:25 MEAN?

WHAT DOES LUKE 18:25 MEAN?

Today we are going to look at a verse, and passage, that many have questions about. It’s the passage where Jesus talks about a camel going through the eye of a needle, verses, a rich man entering the kingdom of God.

THE BOOK OF JOB, IT’S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE!

THE BOOK OF JOB, IT’S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE!

IT’S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE! What happens when we look at a situation from the wrong perspective? What happens when we think we know all the details, to only later find out that we were missing some important information? What happens when we jump to conclusions without looking at the big picture? Nothing good happens when we have the wrong perspective on a situation, besides maybe learning a valuable lesson! But we do this all the time! WE TRY TO FIGURE…

How to have a personal relationship with God?

How to have a personal relationship with God?

YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS JUST THAT, IT’S PERSONAL. Everyone’s personal relationship with God looks different, but it has to have the same foundation, salvation. Salvation is knowing that we are sinners, asking God to forgive us of our past, present and future sins, and believing that He can and will do that, through the death and resurrection of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. This is the beginning of how to have a personal relationship with God….

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, WHY?

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, WHY?

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP IS A MUST! If you’re a Christian you need to spend time fellowshipping with other believers about your common faith. I believe most Christians know this to be true, and really want to do this. But in reality, we’re not fellowshipping as often as we should be. We’re not fellowshipping at home like God wants us to, and we definitely are not fellowshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ like we should be. I’m not trying to…

JONAH CHAPTER 4 – WHO ARE YOU CONCERNED FOR?

JONAH CHAPTER 4 – WHO ARE YOU CONCERNED FOR?

But the Lord said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?” JONAH 4:10-11 We can learn a lot from Jonah. We can relate to him more than…

3 BIBLICAL MARRIAGE PRINCIPALS

3 BIBLICAL MARRIAGE PRINCIPALS

Over the years marriage has changed, but I am not going to talk about those changes. Instead, lets talk about the biblical principles of marriage, because those have not changed. This year, my husband and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were young in our faith when we got married, but we promised each other that we would keep God in the center of our marriage. As with anything in life, the longer you are apart of something…

AM I SHOWING LOVE TO OTHERS?

AM I SHOWING LOVE TO OTHERS?

What is love according to the bible and am I showing enough of it? I don’t believe that Christians think about this topic very often. This world would be so much better if everyone asked themselves these questions, and cared about the answer they received. We are called to show love to others, so this should be a goal for each of us. The verses in I Corinthians 13:4-7 will tell us if we are showing love to others, if…
