Beautiful Creations of God

It is so easy to get discouraged or get overwhelmed with sadness. This is because we are living in a world that was created by God, but not ruled by God. The more we surround ourselves with the presence of God, the more we will be encouraged, and can encourage others who are struggling. One way to surround ourselves in the presence of God, is to look to the beautiful creations of God!
I hope these 7 examples of creation showing God’s glory, will bring you encouragement and fellowship time with God.

My goal is to bring God’s word to life, to make it visual and encouraging!
God is the creator of all things good and we can observe that each day.
We just have to look around and believe!

PSALM 90:2
The mountains

Before God created the mountains or formed the earth, God was! God is everlasting. He has always existed, and always will. He was, before He created these beautiful mountains, and He will still be after these mountains are gone!

When we visited family in Albuquerque NM we were able to take in this stunning view on top the mountain! This is a picture perfect view showing the mountains that God formed! Just one example of the beautiful creations of God.

PSALM 136:8-9
The sun, moon and stars

God created the sun for a reason! Everything was for a purpose, even the moon and stars that we see at night! Looking at a beautiful sunset, the stars in the night sky, and a moon that gives light in the darkness, reassures me that we really do have a loving God! I am so glad that His love will last forever, longer than the sun, moon and stars!

While we were on top the mountain, we were able to watch the sun set in the distance, behind the far off mesas. It is a beautiful sight to be able to see God’s creation in action!

Gifts from God

God gives us many gifts, in many different forms and ways! God gave someone the ability, knowledge, and understanding on how to design, create and operate these massive balloons! Throughout history, God has always given people gifts and talents. It is up to us to use them wisely.

While in NM we were able to go to Balloon Fiesta and witness first hand the gift that God had bestowed on so many people! Even if they do not know God, His perfect gift was being shown to so many people.

PSALM 104:10
Springs

He creates springs in the valley between the hills. God is in the details! He makes water come up from inside the earth, with no help from us! God is in the details!

When we were site seeing in NM, we were able to stop at a hot spring on the side of a mountain. It was amazing sitting in this little the cave, only big enough for a few people, thinking about all the detail that God put into making this hot spring! This was a little cave that had a hot water spring, that flowed out from inside the earth, eventually making its way down the side of the mountain, after flowing through two small natural pools.

PSALM 104:11
Rivers and streams

God makes a way for all creatures to survive! Those natural springs flow down the mountains, or the hills, giving drink to all the wild animals. God provides for all His creation!

We also got to visit family in Arizona, they took us to this mountain stream to take in the amazing view. While we there God showed us that He really does provide for all of His creation. We were lucky enough to see a deer leaving the rivers edge!

PSALM 104:12
The trees

If you sit in silence in nature, you can hear the birds singing in the trees. God created this world to sustain itself, its a process that has not failed! He made springs, that turns into rivers and streams, that quench the thirst of wild animals, and provide the needed water for the trees to grow, in order to give shelter for the birds of the air. God creates with a purpose, and we can see that all around us!

This is the view from where we parked, to walk to the hot springs. As I looked at this view of the mountain and the trees, I could only wonder how much wildlife was contained there. God provides shelter not only for the birds in those tree, but so many more animals that only He can see!

PSALM 104:13
Watering the mountains

God waters the mountains! He does this with snow, rain and springs from the earth. He waters them, and that creates rivers, streams and lakes to satisfy the needs of the earth and everything on it. This is an amazing process that only God can create and sustain!

While in Arizona, we spent some time at a lake that is formed by a mountain stream. Below, you can see the almost dried up stream, along with the lake and the nearby mountains. When we walked around this stream fed lake, you could see signs of wildlife all around. I couldn’t help but see God’s glory in all of it!

GOD IS EVER PRESENT. GOD IS EVER WORKING. GOD IS IN THE DETAILS!

I pray that we can stay focused on God and see Him in the little details of life! We don’t need to be standing on top a mountain watching the sunset, to be close to God. If you look around you right now you can see God, and His beautiful creations! You just have to look and believe He is there!
