WHO IS JESUS?

WHO IS JESUS?

I wrote “Who Is Jesus” in 2011 to help explain who He is really is.
The bible is filled with so much information about Jesus, who He is, what He did, and what He will do in the future. Everything that I wrote about was taken from John 1:1-18.

WHO JESUS REALLY IS

I think we take Jesus for granted. We don’t realize, and often forget about who He really is. Yes, He is God, and at the same time, the Son of our Father God, He is a healer, miracle worker, a teacher, our salvation, and so much more. Jesus was always God, with God, and He is the Word! The word was there is the beginning, and the word became flesh! But, who is Jesus? Who was He before He came to earth in the flesh for us?

IN THE BEGINNING

The bible tells us that Jesus was present in the beginning. When the heavens and the earth were made, He was there. In fact, Everything that was made, was made through Him! That is an awesome concept for me to grasp! Everything was made through Him, the heavens, the earth, the birds, the sea creatures, and us! When we think of Jesus we tend to think of the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, flesh and bones Jesus. He is so much more than the flesh and bones Savior that we so often picture. We need to remember that He made us, He made this world, He made the heavens! He was there in the beginning creating …

THE LIGHT OF MEN

The bible also says that He is the life of men. What is the life of men? It is light, and Jesus is that Light! If you think about light it is amazing. We can not live without it! This world, as we know it, could not exist without the light that the sun gives off.  Even at night God has given us light. God doesn’t want us to live in darkness! Jesus is the life of men and the Light for everyone who comes into this world! Jesus made man, and is the Light for man!

CONCLUSION

When Jesus, the Word and the Light of all men, became flesh and walked on this earth He did that for a reason. He did it because we need to step out of the darkness, and choose to live in the Light. If we accept this Light, and the Word, He will give us the right to become children of God.
