This post is a personal testimony, my personal testimony on how the Holy Spirit showed me something new. He helped me to have another perspective on how God shows His love to us, in the midst of a life of trials and tribulations. In this world you will have tribulation. God has a promise to help us through it!

A PERSONAL TESTIMONY

It had been an emotional couple days for me. I had experienced highs and lows, worries, concerns, and joy. Some of those emotions were based on people that I know that have health problems, those that are not saved, and just feeling down because of the evil in this world. I know many of you can relate to how I was feeling.

Many people who do not believe in God, or in the Christian faith, use emotional experiences like mine to try to prove that God is not real. They do this by saying, “A loving God wouldn’t allow all this to happen”. My reply is this: In this world you will have tribulation. God didn’t make this world perfect, just the next.

But, God gave me one more thought that really did bring me to tears today.

I woke up this morning earlier and more cheerful than normal. A morning person, I am not, so that in its self is a blessing! I had a checklist of things I wanted to get done since it’s my day off, and first on that list is the dishes. If you’re like me, you need some background music in order to bring some joy to the experience of making dirty dishes clean.

THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES ME A NEW PERSPECTIVE

As I was singing and doing those dirty dishes, I was thinking about the sadness and the bad days that everyone in this world experiences. And then I got a new thought. Do nonbelievers really think this is it? Do they think that this is all they will ever experience? Oh my gosh, people who believe in reincarnation, do they really want to experience this life over and over and over again? There is joy in this life, but there is a lot of trials and tribulations that go along with it. Do people really think that this is it?

Many nonbelievers will say they can’t believe in a God that can allow so much evil and bad things to happen. But I say, what an amazing God, He doesn’t want us to only experience this life! He removes us from this life that is full of sin and evil, along with trials and tribulations, so we can experience another life that is ONLY perfection!

GOD’S PROMISE

Yes, bad things happen in the midst of the joys of this life, but God doesn’t want that to be our only experience! God may allow trials and tribulations, but we are not currently living in GOD’S world. In this world you will have tribulations. God has a promise to help us through it! He loves us so much that He doesn’t want the tribulations that we experience in this world to be our last experience!
He wants us to live with HIM for eternity, and that is His promise to us!
